Math - Last week we got to take advantage of the nice weather and practice some subtraction relays. We even learned about measuring volume and reading beakers. We have been hitting fractions quite a lot this week. Tonight ask your child to give you an example of a fraction that is equal to one or more than one. Science- Have you heard about our experiment? We are currently working on seeing what happens to different types of seeds when all they have is water and light but no soil. Writing- We have been working on publishing our writing stories in the computer lab. We have written three prompts so far: What would you do if you were stranded on an island? You walk into a classroom and your teacher is an alien, what happens next? You are walking your dog and your dog looks back at your and says take me back where I was born. Genius Hour- We are finishing our second genius hour project and will be ready to present on Monday. You might see your child working on a poster at home over the week to try and get done!
